Jaime Ginter is a biological anthropologist. She obtained degrees from the University of Alberta (B.A.), the University of Western Ontario (M.A.), and the University of Toronto (Ph.D.). Her research explores skeletal and archaeological evidence for lifestyle change among South African Later Stone Age hunting and gathering populations and prehistoric Ontario First Nations groups. She is also interested in understanding adaptation from a health perspective, specifically the impact of vitamin D on health status. Dr. Ginter is involved n a multi-year interdisciplinary project focussing on the development of innovative digital educational technologies that promote ethical and sustainable experiential learning opportunities and collections management approaches.
