
Assessment Centre
The Sheridan Assessment Centre provides services to Sheridan applicants, students and faculty by administering admission and placement assessments as well as make-up testing.

Sheridan’s Assessment Centre is offering in-person appointments for:
- Sheridan students who have documented academic accommodations through the Accessible Learning Office
- Sheridan applicants who are required to take pre-admission tests (such as the English Proficiency Assessment or Mature Student Test)
- Sheridan students writing a make up test
Please book your appointment below. Walk-in appointments will not be accepted.

Booking a test
The Assessment Centre is offering in-person appointments for:
- Sheridan students who have documented academic accommodations through the Accessible Learning Office
- Sheridan applicants who are required to take pre-admission tests (such as the English Proficiency Assessment or Mature Student Test)
- Sheridan students writing a make-up test
To book your pre-admission test, please select your campus:
Proctoring of External, ESL Placement, or Academic Upgrading Placement tests is currently suspended. If you need to write one of these tests, please contact your instructor or the appropriate office, and they will make other arrangements with you.

What to bring when you write your test
Proof of Fee Payment
If you are an international student writing an ESL test, bring proof that your tuition has been paid so that you can be exempted from paying the test fee.
Davis: Fees are to be paid in advance of writing your test, with debit only, at the registration office during regular hours of operation. If the registration office is closed, you may pay at the Assessment Centre, provided that you have Interac. The Assessment Centre staff cannot receive cash or accept credit card payment. In either case, you will be issued a receipt. Bring your receipt with you to the Assessment Centre when coming to write your test.

Valid Photo Identification
A valid photo ID must be presented to the Assessment Centre clerks at the time you write your test. Examples of valid photo ID’s include a current driver’s licence or Sheridan College Student Card.
Confirmation from Admissions Office
If you have been asked to complete a test by the Admissions office, you will have received an email indicating the type of test required. Bring a copy (either electronic or print the email) with you to the Assessment Centre when you write your test. You are also required to bring your Student ID Number in addition to your photo ID.
What is NOT Permitted?

Calculators and dictionaries are NOT permitted unless specifically indicated in writing by the Instructor prior to test.
- If you have permission to use a calculator or dictionary, please bring your own since the Centre does not provide these materials.
- Personal affects or other materials not permitted during the test must be stored in the storage areas indicated by the Assessment Centre staff prior to writing your test.
- Cells, PDA’s or other personal communications equipment must be turned off and stored with other personal effects away from the writing area.
- Please note – out of respect for others writing exams, family members will NOT be permitted to sit in the Assessment Centre during your exam.

English Proficiency Assessment or Mature Student Assessment
Your results will be available on your Sheridan Application Portal in approximately 5 business days. You can view your results when you log into your Sheridan Application Portal beside your application status.

Information sessions
Mature Student Equivalency Testing (MSET) and English Proficiency Assessment (EPA) information sessions are now being offered to applicants in person and through Zoom meetings:
The virtual information sessions will take place:
- Mature Student Equivalency Testing session – Every Tuesday at 1 p.m.
- English Proficiency Assessment session – Every Thursday at 1 p.m.
To receive the link to the live virtual information session, applicants should email Karen Agaton karen.agaton1@sheridancollege.ca at least 30 minutes before the start of the information session.
