Michael Annable is the Executive Vice-President, Administration for Linamar Corporation, a global manufacturer and supplier of leading edge solutions to the automotive and industrial markets.
Michael began his career with the Canada Employment and Immigration Commission. He joined Linamar Machine Limited in 1991 as Human Resources Manager. In his current role as Executive Vice-President, he is responsible for Human Resources, Information Technology and Administration. Michael is also active with several community organizations, including the Board of Directors of Skills Canada Ontario Division, the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Governors for Conestoga College. He also coaches youth soccer in Guelph.
Michael maintains that Sheridan’s balance of practical and theoretical learning provided him with an excellent foundation from which to build his career.
"The experience I gained in the classroom was complemented by the lessons learned outside the classroom. Running the pubs helped foster my entrepreneurial spirit and balancing football and my class load taught me strong time management skills,” says Michael, who met his wife at Sheridan.
Michael was also a Sheridan Convocation speaker in 2007.
