After a long career in the private sector, Monika started teaching for Sheridan in 2007. With many years of management experience, she continues to find passion in others learning, as demonstrated in her role as an academic advisor, where she mentors students and supports their pursuit of higher education.
Monika obtained a designation with the Certified General Accountants Association in 1992. In the on-going quest for her own professional growth, she completed a Teaching & Training Program, leading her to curriculum development for Sheridan's Accounting Programs in both the Pilon School of Business and Continuing and Professional Studies. She has also been certified by the Canadian Payroll Association and currently, is working toward an MBA.
