In the world of entertainment, content is king. But beyond movies and television, there’s another form of video content that’s both lucrative and creative: branded content.
In this panel discussion, directors from Toronto-based Nimble Content – a full-service video production company – will share their experience in branded content and tips for breaking into the commercial business.
Led by Andrew Lynch (Advanced Television and Film ’05), Nimble Content creates online content for social media, including short-form videos, explainer videos, documentaries, stunts, interactive videos, pre-rolls, multi-platform videos and more. He’ll be joined by three other Nimble Content Directors. Discussion will include:
- An overview of the branded content ecosystem.
- The role directors play in the commercial production landscape.
- How to break into the business.
- Breaking the stigma of commercials.
- Reel development (no sizzle reels!)
- The commercial production processes.
- Internship opportunities at Nimble!
