Part-Time Academic Fees
What does it mean to be a part-time student?
You're considered a part-time student if you're enrolled in:
- less than 70% of the required credits in your semester, and
- less than 66.67% (2/3) of the required courses in your semester.
How are part-time fees calculated?
Part-time students are charged tuition and ancillary fees on a per-credit basis.
Here is the formula used to calculate part-time tuition and fees: (tuition fee per credit x number of credits) + (ancillary fee per credit x number of credits) + program fees = tuition and fees
Your tuition fee per credit is determined by taking the total cost of your program and dividing it by the total number of credits in your program.
Example:
If you are enrolled in a program with a total tuition fee of $5,400 and 72 credits, the tuition per credit is $75.00.
If you are enrolled in a course that is worth three (3) credits, you would calculate your tuition and fees for that course as follows: ($75.00 x 3) + ($39.54 x 3) + $30.00 = $373.62
Where can I find my tuition and fee charges?
