Anne Cibola is a graphic designer and professor in the Illustration department at Sheridan College. She holds a PhD in Art History and Visual Culture from York University, Master’s degrees in Art History (York University) and Photographic Preservation and Collections Management (Toronto Metropolitan University), and a BFA in Print Media from Concordia University. Her research explores the intersections of photography, graphic design, and conceptual art, with particular attention to how the conventions of graphic design have shaped conceptual art. She is the author of Arnaud Maggs: Life & Work (Art Canada Institute, 2022).
