Dianne joined Sheridan College after a singular career as a Production Stage Manager and Company Manager in live theatre and opera. She teaches stage management, employment skills, coordinates field placements in the industry and supervises the student stage management teams on Sheridan productions. A lifelong mentor to Stage Managers in the industry she delights in now teaching the next generation in an academic/studio setting. 

Dianne’s Production Stage Manager credits include the original Canadian productions of Les Miserables, Rent, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, The Boys in the Photograph, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Other PSM credits include The Shaw Festival, Charlottetown Festival and workshops of the new musicals, Sousakzka and Hard Times. Other stage management credits include shows at Soulpepper Theatre, The National Arts Centre, The Canadian Opera Company, The Stratford Festival, and Manitoba Theatre Centre. Tour credits include production stops in every province in Canada. She toured North America for five years with Donny Osmond.

Dianne has served on the advisory boards for the technical theatre divisions of both Sheridan and Niagara Colleges.

Dianne is a retired stand up comedian.
