Lab to Life® Applied Research Board Game

The Centre has developed an applied research board game titled, "Lab to Life: The Adventure of Applied Research". As part of this experiential teaching and learning tool, students form teams and are given 'Scenario' cards explaining their current research goals. Scenarios are customizable, and as the teams proceed around the board, they pass through 'Checkpoints' that test their knowledge of each specific phase of an applied research project. This training tool could be valuable for any professor or research group at Sheridan or at any other institution. If you would like to learn more about the game, or explore ways that it could be customized for your needs, please send us an email at elder.research@sheridancollege.ca.
