“The result (of research funding to support student-industry projects) has been a win-win situation for the school and industry. Exposure to the latest technologies and work processes develops grads who can better serve the needs of industry. Faculty are furthering their expertise in cutting-edge technologies, with the results feeding back into curriculum; and industry partners are able to better integrate innovation and new job creation research with the daily demands of production.” SIRT founder and Director John Helliker, a Faculty member in Sheridan’s Advanced Television and Film Program.
