Sheridan prepares to host virtual Spring Open House on March 27
Sheridan is gearing up to host its flagship recruitment event – Spring Open House – virtually on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The online event will feature a full suite of virtual tours and interactive sessions that will allow prospective students and parents to connect with Sheridan staff, get information about programs, admissions and financial aid, explore comprehensive student services and supports, and more.
“We can’t wait to welcome learners from across the globe for our virtual Spring Open House,” says Deanne McQuarrie, Registrar. “While the event is completely online, prospective students will still be able to interact and engage in thoughtful conversation with our talented faculty and staff, explore our campuses virtually and discover everything Sheridan has to offer, from the comfort of their own home.”
Along with live information sessions, there will also be program-specific sessions, service area sessions to highlight campus life and networking opportunities throughout the day. Sheridan is employing a cutting-edge virtual venue tool called Hopin that allows attendees to move in and out of rooms and drop in on different sessions. It will provide flexibility for participants who are eager to explore programs in various faculties.
“I’m excited to showcase the incredible Sheridan experience to our prospective students,” says Andreas Ponvia, Manager, Student Recruitment. “This event also provides a great opportunity to ask questions, connect with current Sheridan students about their virtual experiences and learn more about what it’s like to be a Bruin.”
Attendees are asked to register for Open House through the online form.
