Latest KPI Survey Results Show High Student Satisfaction and Success at Sheridan

Sheridan’s degree programs are earning high marks from graduates and employers alike according to the Ontario Colleges’ Key Performance Indicators (KPI) data released today.

With a graduation rate of 77.2%, Sheridan’s four-year degree programs far surpass the average graduation rates for Bachelor’s degrees in the province at 66.8%.  Of the Sheridan graduates surveyed, 85.5% had a high degree of satisfaction with their degree programs overall, while 92.2% of degree students suggested their programs provided the knowledge and skills they required for their future careers.  For employers surveyed, the satisfaction rate for Sheridan’s degrees was 100%.

Sheridan also has higher than average graduation rates in all of the credential types offered, including diplomas, certificates, and post-graduate certificates. “We’re tremendously proud of our ability to prepare future generations for successful careers and lives,” notes Dr. Mary Preece, Provost and Vice-President Academic at Sheridan.    “Our success is a testament to the passion for teaching exhibited by our faculty, our ongoing investments to provide students with a real-world learning environment, and the contribution of our expert Professional Advisory Council members, who help ensure that our programs are relevant to the needs of industry and society” said Preece.

Sheridan offers 19, four-year Bachelor’s degrees in applied areas of study.  This total includes several new degrees launching this September:  five degrees in Business, one degree in Mobile Computing, a degree in Film and Television and a degree in Crafts and Design (Industrial).
