This seminar is open to all and will discuss some of the challenges of managing the demands of parenting, working and teaching in the home while providing effective tips to adjusting and establishing new routine. It's hosted by keep.me SAFE by guard.me.

11 a.m. to noon - Wellness Wednesday: Let’s Talk Acts of Kindness

Contributing to our communities can be a source of motivation and hope at this time. Let's talk about some ways that we can support each other, and how these behaviours contribute to our own positive well-being.

Students can tune in live for a free 45-hour long Yoga/Mindfulness Session. Students will be asked to share their experience for a chance to win a $50 gift card.

Noon to 1 p.m. - Resilience of Indigenous Learners Weathering the COVID-19 Pandemic 

Indigenous peoples face unique challenges which are exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this webinar, we will highlight some of the current challenges experienced by Indigenous students learning remotely and how these students have cultivated resilience in the face of adversity. Learn how you may play a role in supporting their success.  

Speakers: Elijah M. Williams, Director Indigenous Engagement will be in conversation with Amanda Myers, Director of Indigenous Services at Western University about this important topic.
