Sheridan's Dare to Care: An Evening of Action on December 7

Time 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Location - Trafalgar Road Campus, Lower Cafeteria, 1430 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, Ontario

The final day of this Sheridan Dare to Care campaign will culminate in an evening of action on December 7, 2017 from 5 to 7:30 pm at the Trafalgar lower Cafeteria.  There will be a number of pertinent guest speakers, including the Governor General Award-winning advocate Julie Lalonde from the Provincial Draw the Line Campaign.  Through these captivating lectures and participant engagement, we will challenge Sheridan Community members to not only pledge against sexual assault and violence, but to unpack what it truly means to be a bystander and ally in our community.

This is a free event and is open to all Sheridan students and community members.  Refreshments and snacks will be provided. The major focus will be on engaging our current and future student leaders to explore how they can make a difference at Sheridan and beyond.
