Do you remember your excitement and anticipation for what lay ahead as you walked across the stage at convocation? Remember the feeling of pride for the hard work and determination it took to get there? Despite all the challenges in your path - busy schedule, competing priorities, lack of sleep - you made it.
Get Creative: Giving to Sheridan
Canada needs a new breed of thinkers who are not only capable of embracing a rapidly changing economy but inventing it. It’s an idea so big we can’t do it alone. Please join our Get Creative campaign.
Memorial or Tribute Giving
Memorial gifts are a thoughtful way to honour someone’s life. Sheridan College will send a card to the bereaved family acknowledging your kind gesture. Tribute gifts recognize an individual that you would like to honour or may mark a special occasion or milestone in someone’s life while making a difference to the students at Sheridan. The amount of your donation is kept confidential.
Academic Awards
Academic Awards recognize outstanding achievement, inspire and motivate students, and ensure that they have the financial means to complete their education while striving to be their best. Named academic awards can be created with a contribution of $500 or more.
Student Grad Shows, Exhibitions and Catalogues
Sheridan students initiate, plan and host year-end graduation exhibitions to celebrate their accomplishments and to showcase their talents to industry professionals, family and friends.
Sky Blue Endowment Fund
Great varsity programs are built with the help of great supporters. The Sheridan Bruins are the varsity-athletic teams that represent Sheridan in basketball, soccer, volleyball, rugby and cross country. You can be part of the team that will support these student-athletes. They lead in the classroom, in their sport and in the community.
Scholarships and Bursaries
Establishing a scholarship or bursary provides much-needed financial support so students can pursue their dreams. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement and bursaries are based on financial need. A named scholarship or bursary can be created with a contribution of $1,000 or more.
Theatre Sheridan
The Friends of Theatre Sheridan includes patrons committed to supporting arts education and the future talent of Canadian theatre.
Legacy Gifts & Endowments
Legacy giving involves building for the future. Planned gifts include estate gifts, insurance policies, charitable annuities and charitable remainder trusts. Gifts of any size can have a significant impact.
Gifts-in-Kind
Gifts-in-Kind can provide valuable educational resources for our students and faculty. Examples include real estate, rare books, art, special collections, equipment or other tangible personal property.
Campus Enhancement Fund
Your gift to the Campus Enhancement Fund will help in the acquisition of art work and installations designed to enrich the quality of Sheridan’s public spaces.
Sheridan Centre for Elder Research
The Centre for Elder Research provides a unique environment for conducting applied research into areas of practical concern and immediate relevance to older adults and their families. The Centre develops innovative approaches and creative interdisciplinary partnerships that focus on enhancing the lives of older Canadians.
