Doug Sutcliffe, Business Admin Marketing ‘10

Doug SutcliffeDoug is a purpose driven business leader specializing in building strong cultures of data driven decision making and continuous improvement that drive sustainable revenue growing and cost reduction through scalable solutions.

He has been an entrepreneur and intrapreneur since graduating from Sheridan College in 2010, first running a record setting student painting business and then launching a 40,000 member ridesharing community before joining L'Oreal Canada as a sales management trainee.

Since that time, over the course of many roles he has led a digital and data transformation at the company, first in L'Oreal Canada, and now at L'Oreal USA through process, culture, and data.
Outside of work he pursues an interest in digital art and is launching a marketplace for climate change volunteerism and gig work to help drive forward progress on some of today's greatest challenges.

Mahfuz Chowdhury, Business Admin Marketing

Mahfuz ChowdhuryMahfuz is a national award-winning Brand Manager at Candybox Marketing, ranked as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies in Canada for the last three years in a row. Over the last 12 years, he has delivered hundreds of keynote presentations across North America to help brands adapt to the changing world and tell their story.

His published book "Project Reinvention" shares how he broke into the marketing industry through personal branding and storytelling. Mahfuz is also a fellow podcaster, with over 130 episodes of the Ride With Me podcast recorded from his driver's seat.

Yaejin KimYaejin is a marketing professional with 10+ years’ progressive experience along with specialized expertise in the management of B2C and B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives.

She majored in Education in South Korea before coming to Canada to study Marketing. After completing the Post Graduate Marketing Management program at Sheridan College in 2009, she has been working as a marketing professional with different corporations including LG Electronics, FedEx Express, and Scotiabank. A wife and a mother of two living in Hamilton, she is currently on maternity leave from Scotiabank.

Guru MissarHaving experience in a wide variety of business sectors and graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management, Guru has helped people reach their financial goals by providing financial planning and investment services with CIBC. He has also worked closely with students while at Sheridan, assisting the organization with website design, marketing strategy, and communications strategy. Guru has assisted in the rebranding and launch of online retail platforms for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Guru believes that we must re-evaluate how we conduct business in today’s global economy. Organizations and governments must work together to solve many of the challenges we face as a society. Guru has a deep belief that creative collaboration and hard work can change the world for the better. Humans are social creatures that can empower each other to strive for excellence and reach heights that were previously conceived as impossible.
