Fit Break for Kids
Tuesday, April 13 | 10 a.m. EST
Join us for a 1-hour fit break with Kinesiology and Health Promotion grad, and Certified Personal Trainer, Harnaaz Kamboj. This one-hour fit break is perfect for those highly active kids who need to burn off some energy while being cooped up in the house, and best of all, no equipment is necessary! It will be a fusion of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), finishing off with some calming yoga. The first half of this activity will target the major muscle groups through strength and cardio movements. The fit break will end off with a relaxing yoga cool-down sequence to stretch any muscles worked through the exercise.
No materials are needed, but a yoga mat is recommended for the second half. Participants can choose to wear shoes for the exercise portion of this fit break, and then kick them off once we settle on our mat for a cool down.
Fun for all ages!
Harnaaz Kamboj is a proud Sheridan grad from the Kinesiology and Health Promotion program, and the owner of Venture Sport and Strength (VSS).
