Sheridan Child and Youthcare Club Fundraising Event

The Sheridan Child and Youthcare Club is hosting a virtual 5 km walk to get people active and promote Children's Aid Foundation’s COVID-19 Youth Support Fund. Help them support the 2,300 young people "age-out" of the child welfare system in Canada each year who are particularly impacted now by the effects of COVID-19.

10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Faculty Day: Humanities and Social Sciences

In the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHASS), you’ll join a vibrant, interdisciplinary community and engage in a creative and transformative educational experience.

Each Faculty has a schedule of virtual sessions lined up that are unique to your area of study. You’ll have a chance to get details about the programs you’re interested in, speak to professors and admissions representatives, and learn about student life and the many services that Sheridan has to support you.

Learn research based studying and test taking strategies to help with upcoming tests and midterms.

Have a career question and need a quick answer?

Join us for these lunchtime sessions where you could interact with a panel of staff from Sheridan's Career Centre, including representatives from the Career Counselling, Employment Consultant and Employer Relations teams.

Noon to 1 p.m. - Namaste at Home: A Facebook Live Event

Grab your yoga mat and set up a relaxing space at home. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome. The Sheridan Athletics team will be guiding you through a 45-minute session of yoga and meditation.

3 p.m. - How to Grow Your Own Food

Nothing tastes better than the food you have grown yourself! Gardening is not only rewarding and relaxing but a way to connect with nature during these strange times. Food grown in a backyard, community or balcony garden can also be a way to cut down on grocery costs. 

Join us on #WellnessWednesday for an introduction to growing your own food with staff from Sheridan’s Community Garden.

Noon to 1 p.m. - Fitness Thursdays: A Facebook Live Event

Looking for an at-home workout? Join us on our Facebook page for a guided 45-minute workout with a trainer! We’ve partnered up with Sheridan Athletics to get your body moving and stay active while you’re home. Share your experience afterwards for a chance to win a $50 gift card!
