Film Series Focuses on Ethics in Business

November 03, 2011

Sheridan is tackling the timely subject of ethics in business in a Tuesday evening film series at the Hazel McCallion Campus in Mississauga. Hosted by Faculty of Business Dean, Bill Holmes, the film series covers a number of issues in business ethics from corporate responsibility to social media. Alumni are welcome.

According to Bill Holmes, the series aims “to place business into a larger societal context; to clarify the fact that business can and should be used for the benefit of society, while acknowledging the dark side of industry.”

The Ethics in Business Series, held in room A145 at the new Mississauga campus, began on October 18 and runs for eight weeks concluding on December 6, 2011. All shows will start at 7:00 pm.

The first two films screened were The Corporation and An Inconvenient Truth. Click here for more information. more
