Degree Breadth Electives

All baccalaureate degree programs at Sheridan must include Liberal Arts and Science courses outside of the main discipline of study for the particular degree to satisfy the breadth requirements stipulated by the Post Secondary Education Quality Assessment Board for degrees.

To review Sheridan’s policy on Liberal Arts and Science (Breadth) Degree Requirements and the Block Transfer Procedure, please visit the Sheridan policy page  and type “Breadth” in the search field.

For further information regarding Degree Breadth requirements and adding Breadth electives, please see the Breadth Elective page from the Office of the Registrar at the following link: http://myotr.sheridaninstitute.ca/breadth_electives.html

HOW TO APPLY FOR ADVANCED STANDING

Sheridan recognizes that some students who enter a program at the College will have earned post-secondary credits at other recognized post-secondary institutions and may wish to apply these credits towards the Sheridan credential. Advanced standing refers to the transferring of credit earned at another recognized post-secondary institution towards a Sheridan credential.

For further information regarding Sheridan’s Advanced Standing Policy and to view the process for making an application, please see the myPathways page from the Office of the Registrar at the following link: http://myotr.sheridaninstitute.ca/mypathways.html
