Brazilian delegation visited Sheridan's Tool and Die programs

On October 31, 2013, Sheridan's School of Skilled Trades entertained visitors from Brazil’s National Training Service for Industrial Training (SENAI). SENAI is one of the largest technical training organizations in the world.

Their visit was to benchmark the formation of a tool and die maker professional.

In order to accomplish their goal, two US institutions along with Sheridan (the single Canadian institution) were visited by Christian Dihlmann - President of Brazil's Tool and Die Maker Association, Luiz Eduardo Leão - SENAI's Unit of Education and André Acetose Nascimento -SENAI's International Relations Unit.

Both Sheridan and the delegates from Brazil felt that the time spent together was very worthwhile. Since that visit, SENAI has expressed an interest to establish a cooperative network with Sheridan.
