Paolo Treves

Paolo  Treves

Professor, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology

A Professional Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in consulting, software development and teaching for a number of Colleges and Universities in the GTA including Humber, Seneca, Sheridan and Ryerson University. Paolo worked for three-years as a Consultant for Hydro-Quebec during the Ice Storm. He has participated in software development for Automation Studio for Mechanical components and has worked as a software developer for GE Digital Energy in Markham.

Paolo earned his B.Elec.Eng.(honours) from McGill University and M.Eng.Sc. Telecommunications from INRS. In addition, Paolo has a J2EE Solution Developer diploma as from Ryerson University as well as the DEEDS Project from UofT, and is Java-certified.

Principal Investigator (PI) for a Machine Learning project for a client AquaMobile, Paolo also has a broad teaching repertoire in Software Development, Mobile Application Development in Android and iOS, Java Programming, Telecommunications and Databases and is experienced with C# .NET development.

 Paolo has been the Chair of the PMP Prep program for four years at PMI Toronto and was nominated and awarded the Volunteer Leadership award in 2017 and 2018.
