Christine Tersteege

Christine Ter-Steege

Professor,  Police Foundations program

Christine’s career began in Corrections, working with female young offenders in a detention facility.  She then worked with Peel Regional Police as a constable in a uniform capacity.  It was this experience that afforded her the opportunity to become Vice Chair of the Ontario Parole and Earned Release Board, traveling the province to the various detention facilities interviewing inmates and assessing parole eligibility.   In 2007, Christine became a full-time Sheridan faculty member.   She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree in Homeland Security from Penn State University. Christine has a strong commitment to fitness and is certified in PREP and PIN fitness testing, personal training, fitness instruction and Pilates.
