Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Computing with a Subject of Specialization in Software Design, as well as a Master’s of Science in Computer Science, both from Queen’s University. She spent 7 years in industry prior to joining Sheridan full time in the Fall of 2013. Elizabeth’s work experiences centred around the area of autonomic computing and automation in large enterprises.
Elizabeth has a passion for Continuous Integration and Agile Methodology and recently designed a new course on Configuration Management for the Systems Analyst Program at Sheridan. She also enjoys teaching courses in Java and Object-Oriented Design.
Elizabeth has published papers on autonomic computing for IBM DeveloperWorks as well as the IBM Centre for Advanced Studies Conference (CASCON) and the Software Engineering for Adaptive and Self-Managing Systems Workshop.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys fundraising for VOICE for Hearing Impaired Children.
