What services are being provided?
Counselling Services
Counselling support is available at every campus between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Counselling Services offers personal and confidential solution-focused counselling services by qualified Counsellors who are Registered Psychotherapists. Students can receive counselling for impacts related to responding to the survey including but not limited to:
- Coping with anxiety and/or stress
- Feelings of depression or sadness
We have 10 Personal Counsellors across our 3 campuses. Our Counsellors have a strong internal and external network and, where appropriate, Counselling Services will make referrals to specialized external supports.
Our Student Success Officers can assist students in booking appointments for Counselling Services in person or by phone. Same-day appointments for students in distress are available at all campuses. To book an appointment in person, students can visit the Centre for Student Success at their campus or at the nearest campus to them. To book an appointment by phone, please visit Sheridan’s Counselling Services page.
