Andrea Davis

Andrea is passionate about supporting children, families and fellow Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs). She has worked with infants, toddlers, preschool and kindergarten age children as a front line classroom RECE throughout her 30 year career. Andrea has experience as a supervisor of a local child care centre and manager of Sheridan's Early Child Care Centres. She believes learning is a life long process and became part of the Mentoring Pairs for Child Care Project. It was a mentoring program for child care supervisors across Ontario. This was a two year government program developed by ECCDC of Niagara and run through many of the Ontario Colleges, including Sheridan. Andrea was the facilitator for the Halton Mentoring Group. She began her teaching career in Sheridan's Early Childhood Education Program part-time over 15 years ago and now finds herself doing this as a full-time faculty member. Andrea really enjoys and continues to share her passion and knowledge of the field of ECE with students on a daily basis.
