Congratulations 2013 Graduates!

June 24, 2013

Welcome to the latest members of Sheridan’s fast-growing alumni community which now numbers over 130,000. Thank you to these ten accomplished alumni who offered words of inspiration to this year’s graduating class at Convocation ceremonies this month. Here are some nuggets of their wisdom.

Stephen Barden

Stephen Barden (Media Arts, 1995), Supervising Sound Editor of Sound Dogs, one of Canada's busiest and most successful independent sound editing and design facilities.

“I've never really left Sheridan. On project after project, I have filled my teams with Sheridan graduates. I've worked at Skywalker Ranch, Universal and Sony Studios with Sheridan graduates. I've lived in Manhattan while working on films and taken projects to London, Paris, Shanghai and Capetown all with Sheridan graduates. And as a result I have shared many awards with my team and have helped to send two films to the Oscars. Have a good look around.  You will be working with these people in studios and on sets, collaborating with them online, writing pitches and proposals and telling stories together.”

Susan Dunstan
