Dr. Annie Tarzi is a full-time Advertising & Marketing Communications Management Professor at the Pilon School of Business. She has over 30 years of teaching and industry experience in the US and Canada, including brand management positions at quick service restaurants, most notably A&W Restaurants, Little Caesars, and Tim Hortons.

Annie holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Organizational Systems from Saybrook University. Her dissertation examined the role of intuition in high-stakes leadership decision-making, and her work in this area is currently under review for publication. She also holds a graduate certificate in Research Studies from Griffith University, Australia, and is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step I & II and Values Perspectives.

Annie has been teaching at Sheridan since 2005, in courses spanning Marketing, Consumer Research, Advertising, Professional Development, and Creative Learning Portfolios. Beyond the classroom, she has served as an academic advisor and program coordinator, coached and managed teams for the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition, and contributed to the Local Academic Council and Teaching and Learning committees.
