Walid Belal joined Sheridan College in August 2013 as a Professor in Applied Computing. Prior to joining Sheridan, Walid worked for over 14 years in various IT roles focusing on database administration, spatial database modelling, business intelligence and database design.

Walid holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and Geo-Information Science.

Walid is also a photography enthusiast and prefers to spend his spare time behind the lens.
