Dr. Gursharan Singh Tatla is a distinguished professor at Sheridan College, where he has been a faculty member since January 2013. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he specializes in computer programming, web development and mobile app development, with expertise in technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, database management systems and capstone projects.
Dr. Tatla is passionate about helping students not only learn the theoretical aspects but also apply their knowledge to create impactful and effective web and mobile apps for real-world scenarios. He also plays a crucial role in assessing advanced standing requests for international students, contributing to the academic success and integration of learners from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Tatla holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Computer Science. His scholarly contributions include authoring six books and publishing research papers in esteemed international and national journals.
