Gursharan Singh Tatla has been a professor at Sheridan College since January 2013. His field of expertise is computer programming and website development using various tools and technologies, such as C#.NET, ASP.NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS etc.

Gursharan received his Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Computer Science, and has been working in the teaching profession for more than 15 years. Prior to arriving at Sheridan, he was the head of the Computer Application Department at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhaddal (India). In addition to his academic duties, Gursharan was also responsible for research projects related with higher education.

As a faculty member at Sheridan, Gursharan has experience teaching C#.NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript, Web Development and many other courses. He has also helped students develop websites more appropriately and effectively in non-academic contexts, and has developed and led professional workshops for website learning. Gursharan is also responsible for assessing the advanced standing requests of international students at Sheridan College.

Gursharan has published three research papers in international and national journals, and is the author of six books.
