Dr. Kamilla Petrick is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator specializing in social justice and community studies. She holds a doctorate in Politics from York University, and two prior degrees in Media & Communication Studies from the University of Western Ontario. Kamilla's research interests include collective action for social change, community health and wellness, and the role of technology in social transformation. Her work has been published in Studies in Social Justice, Fast Capitalism, Time & SocietyGlobalizations, and Convergence: The International Journal of Research Into New Media Technologies, among others. With over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Kamilla aims to empower her students to respond skillfully, creatively, and compassionately to challenges in the workplace as well as the world-at-large.
