After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, as well as her Honors Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Stacey began her career working in sales and marketing roles at McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a division of Johnson & Johnson. In 2003, she returned to Ivey to complete her MBA, after which she held various marketing management roles within leading global packaged goods companies: Cadbury and Nestlé.

In addition, Stacey spent time in various roles at EMD Serono Canada, a leader in Canadian biotech prescription drugs and a division of Merck KGaA, Germany. She has also had experience working in a small company environment for a privately-owned sports nutrition company: Iovate Health Sciences. In her career, Stacey has had the pleasure of working on brands such as: TYLENOL, Children's MOTRIN, HALLS Mentho-Lyptus, CADBURY Chocolate, NESCAFÉ and NESTEA, in addition to others.

Stacey was thrilled to join the faculty team of the Pilon School of Business in January 2013 and teaches in both the Marketing and Advertising programs. She is also proud to coach Sheridan's Market Research team for the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition (OCMC). In 2016, the Market Research team were silver medalists.
