Prof. Angela Garmaise

After graduating with an Honours BA in History and a double major in English, Angie translated her working experience within her family’s service-industry business into a 6-year career in Human Resources at Loblaw Companies Limited.  During that time, she completed the Human Resources Professional post-graduate certificate through the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.  In 2006, Angie started her career as a post-secondary educator at Seneca College, and completed her MA in English at the University of Toronto in 2009. Angie is proud to have joined Sheridan College in 2013 on a full-time basis, where she applies her industry knowledge and communications expertise towards the development of students’ professional communication skills within a business context.
