Alexandra has worked at Sheridan since 2009 and became a full time professor in 2012. She is currently teaching in the ESL program and has also taught in the Communications program. Alexandra is the Language Lab Coordinator as well as the faculty advisor to the ESL Club which runs events for students on each of the campuses. She was instrumental in making the Co-Curricular Record available to ESL students who volunteer for the Club.
She has a Master’s of Education in Second Language Acquisition from OISE, a TESOL Certificate from UofT, and a TESL/TEFL Certificate. She is also a member of TESL Canada and TESL Ontario. Prior to working at Sheridan, Alexandra was teaching ESL in the English Language Program in the School of Continuing Education at the University of Toronto. She began her teaching career in 2000 and has experience teaching overseas. Alexandra completed her undergraduate degree at UofT and conferred an Honour’s Bachelor of Science.
