Sasipriya Arun has been a professor of Applied Computing at Sheridan College since September 2010.
At Sheridan, Sasipriya has been teaching programming courses in Java, database design and implementation, relational database management systems, data structures in C and programming logic. She is interested in mobile computing and would like to explore this field further.
Sasipriya has more than five years of experience in the software industry. She has designed and developed client-server, MVC and web-based applications in networking, telecom and medical domains using C, C++, VC++, .Net and Java. She is a Sun Certified Java Programmer.
Sasipriya has a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronics and communication) and a master’s of science in software systems. She has received recognition for her work, including a paper on wireless ATM that she presented at a technical symposium. She is passionate about technology and learning new things.
