Committed to quality early childhood programs for families, Lisa has over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings and positions within the field of ECE including child care, parent cooperative programs and family resource programs.  Equally important, her passion and commitment to supporting student learning has developed over 21 years of teaching in various Community Colleges.

Through her experience as an educator, supervisor and manager in a variety of settings Lisa supports students understanding of theory related to curriculum and development with professional anecdotes and practical application of concepts and principles related to working with children and families.

Lisa remains connected to the early childhood community through her role as President of Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP) and through her work developing and implementing workshops and courses for the Early Childhood Community.

Lisa’s interests in Guidance, Diversity, Inclusion, Social Justice and Reflective Practice have developed through her pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and a graduate degree in Early Childhood Studies. Interest in educational systems and policy are explored through her ongoing PhD research.
