
Olympian and Author Silken Laumann to speak at Sheridan
Sheridan is pleased to present Silken Laumann as the keynote speaker at its annual Showcase of Teaching and Learning event on Thursday, October 29. Laumann is a four-time Olympian who was inducted in the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 1998, having won three Olympic medals and four World Championships. She is also the author of a best-selling memoir, Unsinkable, a compelling encounter of the obstacles she has faced in her life – and overcome.
