
Sheridan to honour over 7,000 students at Convocation ceremonies this week
This week, over 7,600 Sheridan graduates will cross the stage at the Living Arts Centre to collect their prize – the certificate, diploma or degree they have earned through hard work and dedication. Eleven ceremonies will be held over four days, from June 9 - 12, with each one featuring a distinguished keynote speaker who will share their experiences and insight with the graduating classes from Sheridan’s five academic faculties. Other highlights of the week will include the presentation of the Governor General’s Award to the student with the highest academic record among the entire graduating class. This year’s recipient is Gabrielle Chung from the Police Foundations program. She will receive her award at Thursday’s 10:00 am ceremony.
