Artist and Filmmaker Cory Trépanier Brings his Film to Sheridan for an Exclusive Screening

For years, artist Cory Trépanier has explored Canada’s wilderness. Few have walked these landscapes as Trépanier has done, and even fewer have captured them on canvas. After three months of filming a dozen arctic locations, Trépanier brings to light the hidden treasures at the top of the world in his film, Into the Arctic II.

On Wednesday, March 19, Sheridan College welcomes artist, adventurer, filmmaker and graduate Cory Trépanier to its Trafalgar Campus in Oakville for an exclusive screening of his film. Following a whirlwind tour to enthusiastic audiences across Canada, Trépanier is pleased to bring his Canadian Screen Award-nominated film to his alma mater, where he graduated in 1990 from the Illustration program.

At this exclusive screening, Trépanier will share his exploration into Canada’s last arctic frontier on camera through stunning cinematography, sharing the beauty of the north through the eyes of a passionate painter and filmmaker.

Following the screening, he will speak about his adventures and discuss his latest project, TrueWild, A Legacy for Canada’s National Parks, in collaboration with Parks Canada.
