
Sheridan Grads are Broadway Bound
Sheridan Music Theatre Grads are Headed to Broadway!

Chilina Kennedy, who has won critical acclaim for her portrayal of Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Stratford Festival this season, will be joined by an impressive number of fellow Sheridan Music Theatre-Performance alumni and former students when the show makes its Broadway debut next month.
Kennedy, who graduated from Sheridan's Music Theatre-Performance program in 2000, stars in the Stratford Festival production along with fellow alumni Aaron Walpole, Jennifer Rider-Shaw, Kyle Golemba, Stephen Patterson, Mark Cassius, Jacqueline Burtney and Mike Nadajewski. Her previous roles at Stratford have included the title role in Evita!, Maria in West Side Story, and Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. This season also found her on stage in the role of Rose of Sharon in The Grapes of Wrath.
