COVID-19 updates: Semester delivery

Winter 2021 semester

Sheridan will be running a full suite of academic programming this Winter. All programs that can be delivered remotely will continue in that format. On-campus instruction will be reserved for courses with academic outcomes that cannot be measured or achieved virtually.

All students will receive an email from Sheridan in early October about their specific program and whether it will be offered entirely through remote delivery, or through a blend of remote and on-campus instruction (hybrid). Winter 2021 program delivery modes are also posted on MyOTR.

You can rest assured that any on-campus activity will be delivered in ways that safeguard people’s health and safety. Numerous precautions will be put into place to safeguard your well-being while you are on campus, based closely on the recommendations of public health officials. Our protocols, which have already been strictly implemented for the Fall semester, include keeping the number of people on campus to a minimum, strict physical distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols, and the use of masks or face coverings. To learn more about what you can expect when coming to campus, you may wish to review our COVID-19 and Return to Campus site.

Sheridan remains committed to providing our students with the high-quality academic experience that we’re known for. Our faculty have adapted their teaching to ensure you’ll receive the engaging, immersive learning experience you were promised, whether we’re on campus or not, and our Student Support Services teams are here to help you every step of the way!
