COVID-19 Emergency Financial Aid Bursary

[Updated April 16, 2020]

**Applications for this bursary are now closed.**

Bursary Overview

Sheridan created the COVID-19 Emergency Financial Aid Bursary in April 2020 to help students cover basic needs and unexpected costs related to the pandemic. This fund was made available to both domestic and international students enrolled full-time in the Winter 2020 semester, who demonstrated financial need.

Applications were open from April 1–6, 2020, and are now closed.

We're still in the process of reviewing all the requests received and will start distributing bursary funds on Wednesday, April 15, prioritizing requests from students who are in the greatest financial need. Please know that the large volume of bursary requests received means we will not be able to provide every student with the full amount they requested.

Additional Financial Assistance – Government Resources

The Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario have announced several sources of financial assistance for those facing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage you to consider these resources, which may be helpful for you, depending on your circumstances.
