For more information on the course curriculum, check out the course outline for COMM19999. Students who are required to take Essential Communications Skills as part of their program must first complete a Language Assessment prior to the start of classes so they can be placed into the correct Communications Skills course.
Please note: Language Assessment test scores are valid for three years. If you have not enrolled in a communications course within three years of your Language Assessment, you will have to retake the Language Assessment.
Students who are admitted to the following programs are required to complete a Language Assessment at Sheridan before classes begin in January.
Applicants starting full time programs in January 2017 and requiring a language assessment will be able to register for their test via myStudent Centre beginning in October 2016.
