Harpreet Kaur has been in academics since 1996. She holds M.Sc., B.Sc. and B.Ed. degrees. She is a licensed teacher in Ontario and received her Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation from Ontario province of Canada in 2010. 

Prior coming to Canada, Harpreet Kaur served as a lecturer in different Government Organisations in India. She designed and developed curriculum for Mathematics and Chemistry for secondary, postsecondary and graduate level.

Prior to joining Sheridan College Harpreet Kaur has taught at Academy for Mathematics and Science and Cambrian@Hanson College. She has taught a wide range of courses, primarily in the areas of Mathematics but also in Chemistry at secondary, postsecondary and graduate levels. 

Harpreet Kaur joined Sheridan in 2015 and is currently a Partial Load Professor in the School of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (MEET) under Applied Science and Technology. In addition to teaching, she also holds MEET Tutoring Support Officer position and work with tutoring centre to hire Sheridan own students as Peer Tutors and PAL leaders for the School of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (MEET).

She is an author of a book.
