Professor Sage teaches in the Paralegal program at Sheridan College. She holds a BA.H. in Political Studies from Queen's University and an LL.B/JD from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. Professor Sage was called to the Ontario bar in 2007 and has practiced as a lawyer in the commercial litigation group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in Toronto, Ontario.

Professor Sage holds a Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution and Prevention from the University of Westminster, School of Law in London, England. She has facilitated mediation and negotiation training programs as an alternative dispute resolution professional at ADR Chambers/ Stitt Feld Handy Group.

Additionally, Professor Sage has volunteered her time and expertise as caseworker for both the University of Windsor Community Legal Aid Office, and the University of Witwatersrand Legal Clinic in Johannesburg, South Africa.
