Douglas Donald is a multidisciplinary Designer and Technical/Scientific Illustrator with professional experience dating back to 1985 when he graduated with high honors from the Sheridan College Illustration diploma program. Douglas has provided creative design and illustrated visuals in both traditional and digital media for clients such as Hammond Manufacturing, Babcock and Wilcox, Frigidaire, GSW, MacMillan Publishing, Trends International, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Rural Affairs, Ontario Hydro, and Sleeman Breweries Ltd. He holds a Master in Environmental Studies degree from York University. Currently a full-time professor in the Bachelor of Illustration program, he continues to explore the integration of environmental education and visual culture. His personal and professional work studies the relationship of both the technological and natural world expressed through both two and three-dimensional design.
