Cameron has been a Professor of Interior Design at Sheridan College since 2006. His areas of subject specialization are healthcare facilities, corporate offices, retail store design, AutoCAD, Ontario Building Code, and design theory. As an undergraduate in Fine Arts at the University of Guelph, Cameron designed and constructed sets for drama productions and created sculptures. His studies led to gaining entrance into the Interior Design program at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). As a Teaching Assistant at RIT, he began to acquire post-secondary teaching skills and became enthused about furniture design and construction. Cameron's certifications include:

  • Fundamentals in OSHA Compliance, US Department of Labour (OSHA)

Before joining Sheridan, Cameron worked for ten years as a design professional providing interior design planning and facility project management with several large private and public sector organizations in Canada and the United States. These projects included planning, designing, and implementing new construction and renovation of acute healthcare facilities, corporate offices, warehousing, hospitality, and retail spaces. He was also involved with responsibilities for overseeing related facility management functions.
