Rhema Javed

Rhema started her academic journey in 2015 as a student in the Police Foundation program at Sheridan. She found the field of Public Safety a great fit and decided to continue her education with the Honours Bachelor of Community Safety Degree. She is currently in her fourth and final year of the program. Rhema has held multiple student leadership positions throughout her time at Sheridan. She has contributed to EDI research as a Research Assistance, worked for Sheridan Library, and worked closely with the Student Affairs department as a Peer Mentor.

Rhema is an active member of the Sheridan Student Union (SSU), having served as an elected member of the SSU Board of Directors 2021-2022, and is now Vice-President of Staff and College Engagement, where she creates initiatives to enhance student's experience.

Throughout her time at Sheridan, Rhema has found success in volunteering, leadership and mentorship. Rhema has participated in the BIGS on Campus and Leadership Bridging program. She has also been part of many leadership competitions, such as the Collegiate Leadership Competition and the UTSC Mock Trial. She is passionate about student leadership and community engagement.
