Millan Mulraine
Millan L. Mulraine is Chief Economist at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP), where he oversees macroeconomic strategy, global market insight and total fund portfolio positioning. In addition to his role at OTPP, Millan is the Co-President and Chief Investment Officer of Madison Point Capital Partners.
With more than two decades of international financial market and economic policy experience, Millan has held executive and advisory roles across leading financial institutions, delivering strategic macroeconomic coverage and investment guidance. Prior to joining OTPP, he served as Deputy Chief US Economist and Head of US Strategy at TD Securities in New York.
Millan is deeply committed to public governance and community development, actively serving on multiple institutional boards. Prior to joining Sheridan College, Millan served as a Governor and Chair of the People and Technology Committee at George Brown College, contributing strategic guidance on institutional risk, human capital and digital transformation. He also serves as a Board Director at VersaFi (formerly Women in Capital Markets), and a Board Director at SeaCube in New Jersey (a portfolio company owned by OTPP).
Millan holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto, a MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, and a BSc in Economics and Statistics from the University of the West Indies. He has also earned the ICD.D designation and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
