Giving Tuesday 2024
This Giving Tuesday, double your impact for Sheridan students
The path through postsecondary education is filled with challenges: exams, deadlines, and final projects all add stress to student life.
A sense of belonging and connection can help students overcome those obstacles. That’s why we’re creating Together at the Table, a program that will offer students a welcoming, inclusive space to come together to share a meal and build lasting friendships.
This Giving Tuesday, help us build Together at the Table events at each of our campuses. Your support will provide Sheridan students with meals in a community setting that will nourish their bodies and minds.
Just $5 can support a student, and right now you can have twice the impact.
Thanks to a generous matching gift from Sheridan Student Union, every dollar donated between now and midnight on December 3 will be matched up to $20,000. That means your gift of $5 will allow two students to take part in Together at the Table, and $25 will support 10 students.
Your impact
Together at the Table will build on the success of our first-ever communal meal program. Held last spring at Davis Campus, more than 550 students came together at this event where they shared a meal in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
“I felt like I was accepted by the community, and the meal made me feel close to home even though I’m from Sri Lanka.”
– Sheridan student
“It was overwhelming to see so many people from different backgrounds come together to share in this experience.”
– Sheridan student
